1. General Policy: All Custom Sales Are Final Due to the custom-made nature of our food trailers and mobile kitchens, we do not accept returns or exchanges for "change of mind" or "buyer's remorse" once production has begun. Each unit is built specifically to your specifications and cannot be resold as new.
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is based on the actual production stage of your custom unit:
Before Production Begins: You are entitled to a Full Refund. We will confirm with you before the manufacturing process officially starts.
After Production Has Begun: Once raw materials have been cut or the chassis construction has commenced, a cancellation will incur a 30% material & labor fee to cover the costs already incurred.
After Shipping: Orders cannot be cancelled once the unit has left our factory or is in transit.
Please inspect your order immediately upon reception.
Shipping Damage: If the trailer arrives with visible external damage, you must note it on the delivery receipt (Bill of Lading) and take photos/videos immediately.
Manufacturing Defects: We stand by our quality with a 1-Year Warranty. If a component (e.g., water pump, circuit, lights) is defective, we do not accept a return of the entire trailer. Instead, we will:
Send you brand-new replacement parts via Express Air Shipping (DHL/FedEx) for free.
Provide video guidance or technical support to help you or a local technician replace the part.
In the extremely rare event that a return is authorized by Maichi (e.g., we shipped the completely wrong model), the following terms apply:
The item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original crating/packaging.
Return Shipping: Unless the error is 100% ours, the buyer is responsible for the cost of return sea freight to our facility.
