1. Shipping Cost Structure (Please Read)

Because our products vary in size and promotion, shipping costs are determined as follows:

  • A. "Free Sea Freight" Products: Some specific models on our website are marked as "Free Shipping".

    • What this includes: We cover the Ocean Freight cost to the major base port nearest to you (in USA, UK, Canada, & EU).

    • Note: This does not include local port charges, customs duties, or delivery to your door unless specified.

  • B. Standard Products (Shipping Not Included): For most custom-built trailers, the listed price covers the vehicle body and configuration only.

    • Action Required: Please contact our customer support with your destination port or Zip Code to get a real-time shipping quote.

  • C. Upgrading to DDP (Door-to-Door): Regardless of whether the product has "Free Sea Freight" or not, if you choose our Premium DDP Service (delivered to your door with taxes paid), an additional service fee will apply. Please consult us for the final DDP price.

2. Production & Processing Time

Since all Maichi food trailers are custom-built to order, please allow time for manufacturing and testing.

  • Standard Production: 15–25 business days.

  • Custom Builds: Complex layouts may require additional time. We will keep you updated.

3. Delivery Methods

Option 1: Standard Port Delivery (CIF Terms)

  • Destination: Shipped to the major sea port nearest to your location.

  • Your Responsibility: You handle unloading at the port, Customs Clearance, Import Duties, and arranging transport to your final address.

  • Best for: Customers with import experience.

Option 2: "Hassle-Free" DDP Service (Door-to-Door)

  • Availability: USA, UK, Canada, and Europe (EU).

  • Our Service: We handle Sea Freight + Customs Clearance + Duties/Taxes + Inland Trucking to your door.

  • Your Responsibility: Just unloading the trailer upon arrival.

  • Best for: A stress-free experience with No Hidden Fees.

4. Estimated Transit Time

Transit times are estimates and depend on the shipping route and customs processing:

  • USA & Canada: 30–45 Business Days

  • UK (United Kingdom): 35–50 Business Days

  • Europe (EU): 35–50 Business Days

  • Australia/NZ: 20–30 Business Days

5. Receiving & Inspection (Critical Policy)

When your trailer arrives:

  1. Inspect Immediately: You MUST inspect the exterior BEFORE signing the delivery receipt.

  2. Report Damages: If you see any scratches or dents, write "DAMAGED" on the driver’s paperwork and take photos.

  3. Claim: Send photos to us within 24 hours. If you sign "Clean" (no damage) without inspecting, we cannot claim insurance for you.

6. Unloading Responsibility

  • Important: The delivery truck (for Door-to-Door) does not come with a liftgate or ramp for large trailers.

  • Requirement: You must ensure you have a forklift, tractor, or tow truck ready to unload the trailer safely upon arrival.
